Spirit Mountain Lodge

Spirit Mountain Lodge in Oregon’s Coast Range mountains underwent a significant renovation and expansion project aimed at enhancing the guest experience and modernizing key areas of the facility. Precision provided construction cost estimating and constructability review services throughout the project’s development, and ensured that all improvements aligned with the client’s vision, schedule, and budget.

Owned by the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, Spirit Mountain Lodge is a popular entertainment destination offering gaming, dining, and lodging. The renovation focused on upgrading the casino floor, reconfiguring public spaces, and enhancing interior finishes throughout to reflect a more contemporary and luxurious aesthetic. These improvements were designed to increase operational efficiency and elevate the overall guest experience.

The project was divided into two phases. Phase One upgraded and renovated 127 guest rooms; all corridors, elevator lobbies and elevator interiors on all five floors of both the east and west towers of the Lodge; the lodge lobby and Hall of Legends. Phase Two upgraded and renovated remaining 127 guest rooms located on the 2nd through 5th floors of the east tower and the fourth and fifth floors of the west tower.

The project also included expansions to dining areas and back-of-house operations, allowing for improved service and future scalability. Enhanced lighting, new floor finishes, and modern ceiling treatments were integrated to create a more inviting environment for both day and nighttime guests. Acoustical and HVAC improvements boosted comfort and energy efficiency throughout the facility.

Precision worked closely with the design team to provide detailed cost estimates at each stage of development, identifying opportunities for value engineering while maintaining the project’s quality and design integrity. Precision’s constructability reviews helped resolve potential construction challenges in advance, streamlining the build process and minimizing disruptions to casino operations.
